🐾 Boarding Prices, Booking Terms & Important Information 2026
At Berwick Boarding Kennels, we provide a safe, secure and fully licensed boarding environment with experienced staff and structured daily routines. To ensure fairness, consistency and the highest standard of care for all dogs, the following prices, time slots and terms apply to new bookings unless stated otherwise.
🐶 Boarding Prices
Standard Boarding (per kennel, per day):

One dog: £24.00

Two dogs sharing: £42.00

Three dogs sharing: £54.00
-
Four or more dogs: Price on request
✔ All food is included in our standard boarding rates.
Owners are welcome to provide their own food if preferred.
🕘 Day Boarding
Day Boarding (same-day drop-off and collection only):

One dog: £21.50 per day
-
Two dogs sharing a kennel: £40.00 per day
Day boarding applies where dogs are dropped off and collected on the same day within our normal opening hours.
⚠️ If a dog remains with us overnight or into the following day, standard boarding rates will apply.
🕘 Drop-Off & Collection Times (STRICT)
For the safety and security of all dogs in our care, we operate strict drop-off and collection times.
Our gates are locked outside of these hours and access is not possible.
Available time slots:

Morning: 8:00am – 9:30am

Afternoon: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
We do not operate outside of these hours. Early or late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure arrival and collection times are booked correctly.

If you arrive outside of the stated time slots, you will not be admitted

You will be asked to return at the next available time slot

Boarding charges will still apply based on the booked stay
These rules allow us to maintain security, staffing levels, feeding routines and cleaning schedules for all dogs.
🧾 How Boarding Days Are Charged
Boarding is charged per day, not by the hour.
One boarding day may include up to one overnight stay.
This means:

AM drop-off → PM collection (same day): 1 day

PM drop-off → PM collection (next day): 1 day
-
AM drop-off → AM collection (next day): 1 day
-
AM drop-off → next day PM collection: 2 days
-
PM drop-off → next day AM collection: 2 days
Delays, traffic, or incorrect arrival/collection times do not alter the applicable boarding charges.
💳 Deposits & Payments
To secure a kennel booking, a deposit equivalent to one day’s boarding is required.
Deposit Terms

A one-day deposit is payable on the same day the booking is made

A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received

If the deposit is not paid on the day of booking, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without notice
Balance of Payment

The remaining balance will be requested prior to arrival via an automatic payment link

Alternatively, card payments only are accepted on arrival

Cash payments are not accepted
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or non-attendance. Deposits may be transferable to an alternative date at management discretion, subject to availability.
🌼 Peak Season Supplement
£1.00 per kennel, per day
The peak season supplement applies where any part of the stay falls within the following dates:

21 December 2025 – 3 January 2026

3 April 2026 – 6 April 2026

25 May 2026 – 29 May 2026

17 July 2026 – 1 September 2026

23 October 2026 – 2 November 2026
Peak periods reflect times of increased demand, including school holidays and seasonal travel.
❄️ Winter Heating Supplement
£1.00 per kennel, per day
Immediate winter
period:
Applies to new bookings covering stays between:
29 December 2025 – 31 January 2026
Winter 2026:
Applies to stays between:
1 December 2026 – 31 January 2027
This supplement contributes towards increased heating and energy costs during colder months.
